Every new Genshin Impact version update gets brand-new weapons, and version 2.2 is no exception. For Genshin Impact version 2.2, two new weapons are being added to the mix, as shown in the special program. Genshin Impact version 2.2 weapons introduce a new 5-Star Bow and a new 4-Star Claymore. Epitome Invocation: Genshin Impact version 2.2 weapons banner
The new Epitome Invocation limited-time event weapon banner will come out at the same time as the release of the new version 2.2. It will offer increased chances of pulling for the event-exclusive 5-Star Bow Polar Star and the event-exclusive 4-Star Greatsword Akuomaru. It also offers increased chances of pulling for the 5-Star Catalyst Memory of Dust, as well as the 4-Star Sword Favonius Sword, 4-Star Polearm Favonius Lance, 4-Star Catalyst Eye of Perception, and 4-Star Bow Rust.
Article Continues BelowAs for the brand-new weapons, the 5-Star Bow Polar Star and the 4-Star Greatsword Akuoumaru both look formidable. Here are the stats of the new Genshin Impact version 2.2 weapons:
- Polar Star (5-Star Bow) – 608 ATK, 33.1% CRIT RATE at Level 90. Refinement Level 1 Passive Skill Daylight's Augury: “Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 12%. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, 1 stack of Byakuya Kyousei will be gained for 12s. When 1/2/3/4 stacks of Byakuya Kyousei are present, ATK is increased by 10/20/30/48%. The stack of Byakuya Kyousei created by the Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst will be counted independently of the others.”
- Akuoumaru (4-Star Greatsword) – 510 ATK, 41.4% ATK at Level 90. Refinement Level 1 Passive Skill Watatsumi Wavewalker: “For every point of the entire party's combined maximum Energy capacity, the Elemental Burst DMG of the character equipping this weapon is increased by 0.12%. A maximum of 40% increased Elemental Burst DMG can be achieved this way.”
Both weapons look strong. Coupled with Childe's re-run, the Polar Star is looking like a great catch for him. Meanwhile, the Akuoumaru feels great for the likes of Diluc and Sayu. What about you, who do you think will benefit best from these new weapons?
