AQUIRIS describes the game as “A Tribute to Classic Arcade Racers.” Horizon Chase Turbo is inspired by 80's and 90's racing games. The developers recreated the same couch-coop gameplay and upgraded the graphics and added new features. Race with your friends at home or at parties in full throttle through scenic landscapes and tracks. Enjoy the gameplay with the game's Nintendocore soundtrack composed by the legendary Barry Leitch.

In spite of that, the game runs in 4K HD resolution, which makes racing with four players not that painful in the eyes. In fact, the game shines best when played in its four-player split-screen multiplayer mode. With a lot of content to run over, the game features 12 Cups, 48 Cities, 111 tracks, 33 Unlockable Cars, and 12 Upgrades. If you're playing alone, you can still make a name in the game's Global Leaderboards and beat others in the game's Online Competitive Ghost Mode.
Not a lot of you might know a lot about Horizon Chase Turbo. It was, after all, originally a mobile game. A successful one, it transitioned to other platforms, adding more modern features than what mobile devices can handle. But it should receive extra attention and get some eyes on it this week as it shares the spotlight with Sonic Mania on the EGS.
