Fans have successfully unlocked the Lighting Ceremony Illuminating Event in Genshin Impact! Thanks to three million users participating in the web event, a real-life event will cap off the magnificent Enchanting Journey of Snow and Stars.

As previously reported, miHoYo opened the possibility of holding a live stream event for the lighting of a real-life Teleport Waypoint placed in the Alps. Yes, the real-life mountain range that inspired the Dragonspine region in the game will have its very own Teleport Waypoint! As part of the promotions, some cable cars at the Val Thorens ski resort were fitted with Genshin Impact commemorative skins. Some characters from the game also appear as cardboard cutouts along the snowy trail.

Thanks to three million players participating in the web event, players unlocked the real-life Lighting Event, as well as Moras, Primogems, and Goulash unlockable through promotional codes provided in the web event. Even if miHoYo was only aiming for one million users, the Genshin Impact community gave them three times more than what was required.
