Team Liquid looks to expand its reach beyond the esports arena. The famous esports organization holds multiple titles and championships across a wide array of titles. Additionally, they are the designers of some of the most amazing esports apparel in the industry's short history. In a bizarre twist, Team Liquid officially announced its upcoming apparel line featuring the immensely successful anime series Naruto Shippuden.

“Team Liquid’s goal is to continue excelling in the world of apparel and innovative co-branded programs. We know gaming constantly crosses paths with other industries and cultures—especially anime. Like our fans, we love anime, and Naruto is one of the most successful anime franchises of all time. We couldn’t be more excited to announce this strategic partnership to our fans,”

Fans eagerly await the release of the products in the big collaboration. Unfortunately, the items in question will only be available for purchase within the United States. Subsequently, the entire product line hits the Team Liquid online store on February 12, 2021. Additionally, Liquid announced the prices for the merchandise will vary between USD 35  to USD 100.

Team Liquid teamed up with internet celebrity Dominique “King Vader” Barett for the teaser video for the apparel line. King Vader gained notoriety online for his “Hood Naruto” series which features elements of the Naruto series but with a hip hop context.

Above all, Liquid seems to value its fan base's wide array of interests. Last year, Liquid developed a product line featuring characters from the Marvel franchise. The Naruto crossover is a weird step for an esports organization but Liquid's fans aren't complaining.
