TEKKEN producer Katsuhiro Harada clarifies that the TEKKEN x Street Fighter collaboration game project hasn't died yet. In a Twitlonger, Harada reveals that there's a translation error in the subtitles of his video interview at Harada's Bar. The translated subtitles stated that the project is 30% complete, but development has stopped. Harada clarifies that the development of the game isn't dead yet. Rather, the game's development is currently on hold or paused.
Previous, we reported that TEKKEN x Street Fighter has died, after seeing the video from Harada's Bar. Being non-native Japanese speakers, we relied on the translations in the subtitles for our report on the issue. Harada now clarifies that the translation had an error, and the project is still, in fact, not dead.

He promises though that the development for TEKKEN x Street Fighter won't be forgotten. “We are still hopeful that TKxSF will resume development when the opportunity arises. ” He then went on to explain that it's not entirely up to BANDAI NAMCO to decide on when the development for the game will resume. It looks like stars will have to align first before this project comes into fruition.
