The New York Giants dropped their 10th game of the season in a 24-17 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday night, which presented further questions concerning head coach Ben McAdoo's future.

Following the contest, McAdoo didn't exactly quiet the chatter surrounding him, stating that he would continue to coach as long as he's got access to do so.

According to Jeremy Bergman of NFL.com.

“I'm going to coach this team as long as my key card works,” the Giants skipper told reporters following Big Blue's 24-17 loss to the Oakland Raiders. “You know, we've got a great group of players, the coaches, we've got a great staff to work with. We're going to show up ready to go tomorrow and get this thing cleaned up and move on to the next one.”

Things have continued to tumble south for the Giants under McAdoo with each passing the week. The decision to bench quarterback Eli Manning after 210 consecutive starts have only put him under more public criticism.

There appears to be a growing sense that he could quickly be heading to his final few games at the helm in New York. The team has lacked any sense of commitment under him, with their effort often times coming under question along with many numerous internal issues becoming prominent topics of discussion around the team.

It may just be a matter of time before the Giants elect to pull the trigger on letting go of McAdoo altogether and start fresh. Simply put, his tenure has quickly run sour and a change looks to be what's best for the future of the franchise.
