Johnny Manziel is not at all interested in playing for the New York Giants, and that's even if gets an offer from the struggling football franchise. That's pretty much everything you can tell from Johnny Football's reaction to a tweet that suggested that the former Texas A&M Aggies star could be the messiah for the Giants.
Here's Manziel replying to that tweet with a Cam Newton GIF.

The Giants are already eliminated from playoff contention. They can just punt the remaining two games for a higher spot in the 2022 NFL Draft. But whatever their short-term plan is this season, the Giants surely look like a team that needs an answer under center. Daniel Jones is reportedly going to still be the Giants' quarterback in 2022, though he doesn't really inspire confidence. And Manziel shouldn't really be an option, as well.
It was almost a decade ago when Manziel was the talk of the football universe due to his electrifying play in College Station. But those days are long gone. Manziel made it to the NFL when the Cleveland Browns drafted him in 2014, but got released by the team two years later. The former Heisman Trophy winner hasn't made it back to the NFL since and instead played football in the CFL and in the Fan Controlled Football League.
