Okay, we're not totally sure if he's joking, but it appears that New York Giants legend Lawrence Taylor doesn't follow his former team anymore. The ex-NFL MVP recently spoke to TMZ Sports and had a stunning admission on the Giants.

Daniel Jones is the [what?]” Taylor said to Anderson during the interview. “You mean to tell me Eli is not the quarterback no more?!? Get the hell out of here!”

Taylor sat down with his ex-Giants teammate Ottis Anderson, who also revealed that Taylor literally knows nothing about the franchise anymore:

“He doesn't watch, I'm telling you,” Anderson said of Taylor … “We were talking earlier and we were talking about [Dave] Gettleman and Joe Judge and he said, ‘Who? Joe Judge? You talking Joe Kid, the one that played Clint Eastwood?!'”

My gosh, that's hilarious. In all fairness, it's not like the Giants are a team that Taylor would want to follow these days. They're 4-8 and currently sit at the bottom of the NFC East. He also said the last time he actually watched New York play, Eli Manning was the quarterback. Yikes.

Daniel Jones and the Giants will be looking to grab a much-needed win on Sunday against Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. One thing is for sure, Lawrence Taylor won't be tuning in.
