Saquon Barkley is nearing his return from his Week 3 high-ankle. Three days after not playing against the New England Patriots on “Thursday Night Football,” the New York Giants running back posted a highlight video on Twitter with the caption “I'll be back soon.”

Barkley is expected to be back for Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals. He returned to practice on the Tuesday before the Thursday night game and wasn't ruled out until a day before.

Barkley was initially supposed to be back between Weeks 9 and 11, not 7. However, the superstar second-year back has made a miraculously quick recovery and was already “week-to-week” by Week 5.

It appears the Cardinals will be getting his wrath first. The Penn State product is a candidate to break records anytime he is on the gridiron. Now running behind a revamped offensive line and playing with a young quarterback in Daniel Jones, Barkley has the potential to be even better than he is in his rookie year when he comes back — that's saying a lot.
