College basketball season is still a couple of months away but there has been some unfortunate news regarding the Gonzaga men's basketball team. On Tuesday, it was reported that Gonzaga head coach Mark Few was cited for a DUI on Monday, according to KREM. 

“Gonzaga men’s basketball coach Mark Few was cited for driving under the influence Monday night in Coeur d’Alene, according to a Coeur d’Alene Police report.”

Few was stopped for driving with an erratic speed was later cited with a DUI, according to the report, and he could face some legal issues that might be a concern for Gonzaga going forward.

“Mark exhibited several signs of intoxication. Mark refused to complete field sobriety tests but provided breath samples of 0.119/0.120. Mark was issued a citation for driving under the influence.”

Of course, Few's role with Gonzaga is a big one, as his team finished just one game away from a perfect season and a national title before losing to Baylor. But, the program might think twice about Few's future and the legal issues that could pursue, especially because he refused to complete the sobriety tests.
