Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant has already caught the attention of NBA fans everywhere in his first two and a half seasons since coming out of Murray State in 2019. In Sunday's NBA All-Star game in Cleveland, Morant would remind everyone exactly why he was named an All-Star game starter in just his third season.

Just before the end of the first half, Morant would throw down an insane 360 alley-oop slam off of a Trae Young pass that has been the highlight of the night so far. The slam, which helped lead Team Durant to a halftime lead, would be Morant's second impressive dunk of the night. Earlier in the night during the first quarter, Morant set the tone by showcasing his high-flying ability and nearly hitting his head on the rim during another impressive dunk.

Morant is adding an impressive showing at the All-Star game to a career-defining season where he is averaging career highs of 26.8 points and 5.8 rebounds, along with 6.9 assists.

Not only has Morant been statistically outstanding, his style of play is fun for everyone to watch. His high-flying antics and athleticism have been showcased all season. Morant then brought that game to Cleveland for the All-Star game.

In addition to his career high numbers, the Grizzlies currently sport the NBA's third-best record at 41-19 heading into the All-Star break. They are poised for a potentially deep playoff run in the Western Conference. News earlier Sunday of Chris Paul's thumb fracture, along with the inconsistency from the Golden State Warriors, has opened up a window for Memphis to jump right through.
