The Memphis Grizzlies stole Game 1 against the Utah Jazz and then came up short in Game 2 as the series heads to Memphis. Ja Morant has been absolutely brilliant in his playoff debut and dropped an incredible 47 points and seven assists on 15-26 from the field while playing all but five minutes in a 12-point loss to Utah.

He was sensational, but it appears his dad, Tee Morant, wasn't happy enough with Ja's performance, as Ja stated on his Twitter account.

Tee is being honest. A 60-piece, in theory, would've lifted the Grizz over the Jazz by one point and given them a 2-0 series lead. Unfortunately, his late-game surge wasn't enough for the 8-seed Grizz to take another lead in the first-round match.

Memphis was down 20 points at the half and Morant came out ready to roll as they outscored Utah by 14 points in the 3rd quarter to bring the deficit to single digits.

Ultimately, Ja and the Grizz couldn't do enough and the return of Donovan Mitchell proved too much as the Jazz ended up running away with the victory.

Still, Morant proved his worth and is out to show that he can be the leader of the Grind City team as the series heads back to Memphis, where everyone should expect an absolutely raucous crowd.

Tee Morant basically wants his son to win, regardless of how many points he scores, and Ja wants the same thing as the Grizzlies seek an improbable upset of the top-seeded Jazz.
