After Ja Morant took over in Game 2 to beat the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James doubled down on his belief that the Memphis Grizzlies star shouldn't have been considered for the Most Improved Player award.

That's just how special Ja is.

Morant exploded for 47 points in the contest to give the Grizzlies the 106-101 win. It has also allowed them to tie the series at 1-1 before it shifts to Golden State for Games 3 and 4.

Upon witnessing Morant's greatness in display, James took to Twitter to follow up on his earlier statement about Ja. Simply put, the Lakers leader thought a lot of people underestimated or disrespected the Grizzlies youngster for putting him on the list.

LeBron James certainly makes a great point, and a lot of people also believe that's the case. Ja Morant was already a superstar since he arrived in the NBA, and he's just making sure no one can deny it now.

Whatever the case may be, the Grizzlies are certainly lucky to have Morant on their side. The 22-year-old joined both LeBron and Kobe Bryant as the only players to score multiple 45-point games in the playoffs before turning 23, and that speaks volumes on how good he is already this early in his career.

If he continues his dominant play, it's easy to see Morant break more scoring records in the playoffs.
