The Memphis Grizzlies could be without the services of Mike Conley and Joakim Noah for Friday night's match-up against the Magic, according to an official report from the team.

Conley, who's dealing with a bout of “general soreness,” is currently listed as doubtful. He was added to Memphis' injury report on Thursday. Noah, on the other hand, is listed as questionable with right knee soreness.

The fact that Conley is doubtful should come as no surprise, as Friday night's game is the front end of a back-to-back set (vs. Minnesota on Saturday). Furthermore, he logged 42 minutes in Wednesday night's overtime victory over the Houston Rockets. The Grizzlies have another back-to-back set next week. Jevon Carter will likely be called up if the team decides to rest Conley in either of those games.

In 67 appearances with the Grizzlies this season (all starts), Mike Conley has racked up averages of 20.9 points on 43.6 percent shooting from the field (36.6 percent from beyond the arc), 6.5 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 33.4 minutes per outing.

Noah has played well for the Grizzlies thus far. In his last six outings, the former Florida Gator has turned in averages of 10.3 points on 55.8 percent shooting, 8.0 rebounds and 3.2 rebounds in 23.0 minutes. If Noah is indeed ruled out for Friday night's game, Jonas Valanciunas will likely see an uptick in his usage rate. Ivan Rabb could see a bit more playing time as well.

Friday night's Grizzlies-Magic game is scheduled to tip inside the Amway Center at 7:00 p.m. ET.
