Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley was among those who've patiently awaited their NBA 2K18 ratings, only to discover it during a “Ratings Confessional” with the 2K Sports team.

The lefty veteran was asked to take a stab at his rating before learning what it is.

“I think it should be around a 90. Hopefully,” he said. “I feel like I do it at both ends of the court, something a lot of people overlook nowadays and I'm hoping they take that into account.”

Conley soon learned he was rated an 87, drawing an initial sigh of disappointment before his positive outlook for the rest of the season.

“Eighty seven… you know… I think it can get at least to 90 by the mid-year,” Conley offered. “I know you get updates, so I'm cool with 87.”

The 10-year veteran put together his best season in 2016-17, posting career-highs across the board, averaging 20.5 points, 6.3 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game for the Grizzlies after receiving a monstrous five-year, $153 million contract last summer, making him temporarily the highest-paid player since Michael Jordan.

Conley's combination of scoring, three-point shooting ability, and defense have him as one of the most well-rounded players in the game — making it a definite possibility that his rating can take flight if he shows, even more, progress this season.
