Miami Heat legend Chris Bosh appears to be a firm believer in the potential of Heat big man Bam Adebayo. The retired 11-time All-Star was able to work out with Adebayo over the summer, and after being able to spend some time with the promising 22-year-old, Bosh already believes Bam has a very bright future ahead of him:

“If we’re talking about raw, natural talent, he’s got all that,” says Bosh, via David Ramil of Forbes. “The sky’s the limit for him.”

Bosh did not stop there, though, and pointed out that in his mind, the only thing stopping Adebayo from developing into a premier big man in the league is himself:

“For him it’s all about confidence and what he really sees himself doing,” Bosh added. “Now, it’s just about focusing on the thinking portion of the game.”

Having been a top-tier big in his time in the NBA, Bosh certainly knows what he's talking about here. He too was one a highly touted young big man in the league, and he was able to take the necessary steps to emerge as one of the greatest players in Miami's franchise history after blossoming into a star with the Toronto Raptors.

Bosh also chimed in on Adebayo's recent experience with Team USA, wherein the incoming third-year man was eventually cut from the team before heading to China for the recently concluded FIBA World Cup:

“And whatever happened [with Team USA], he can take that with him and I hope it puts a chip on his shoulder for the season…because he’s gonna need it,” he said.

This is definitely some sound advice coming from Bosh here, and so long as Adebayo takes it all in, then the sky indeed appears to be the limit for this young man.
