Miami Heat shooting guard Dion Waiters appears to be in less-than-desirable shape upon his initial appearance for training camp after posting a picture of himself two weeks ago in full uniform. His headshot for the 2018-19 season was published on Tuesday after having gone through the Media Day obligations on Monday.

Naturally, Twitter had a field day, as Waiters filled his jersey entirely.

Waiters' photo from Sept. 13 looked massively different, looking incredibly fit after seemingly cutting down on the famed Philly Cheesesteaks and filling up on that Philly Cheese Swag.

Though it seems two weeks or maybe a change of lens and angle can make a lot of change for a player.

Waiters is coming off a season-ending injury and he's unlikely to start the season fully healthy, so the weight might be a work-in-progress as his recovery picks up the pace.

The Heat is notorious for being rigorous when it comes to dieting, measuring their players' height, weight, body fat, and body mass index through a process full of scrutiny.

The starting shooting guard might not be required to fully meet those standards quite yet, but he will be asked to slim down before he commands major minutes on the floor.
