Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade was pumped after Jimmy Butler led the Heat to a huge Game 1 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.
Butler scored 40 points in Game 1 and was unstoppable from start to finish. Wade, who is very close friends with Butler and sold the Heat to Butler last summer, wasn't really surprised.
Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler were teammates for one season on the Chicago Bulls in 2016-17. They developed a brotherhood during that one season and now talk all the time.
One of the main reasons Butler signed with the Heat is because he was blown away by the ceremony Miami threw for Wade last season in Flash's last game in South Beach. The Heat were facing the Sixers, who had Butler.
Jimmy reportedly spoke to friends after that game and said he could see himself playing for the Heat.
Butler and the Heat will look to take a 2-0 lead against the Bucks in Game 2. Expect Butler to keep his foot on the gas pedal since Wade is constantly in his ear.
