The Miami Heat dealt the first blow of the Eastern Conference Finals in Game 1. But the Boston Celtics came back with an even harder haymaker in Game 2, running away with the 127-102 win.

The Heat took an early 10-point lead midway through the first quarter, which turned out to be the best they'll look all evening. The Celtics swung the game shortly after that, turning that double-digit deficit into an 11-point advantage by the end of the first frame, 35-24. They never looked back, leading by as much as 34 on their visitor's home floor.

After the mostly one-sided affair, Jimmy Butler guaranteed that Miami wasn't going to let that happen again.

Via Tim Reynolds:

“I promise you, I will figure it out,” vowed the Heat star.

Jimmy Butler was one of the lone bright spots for the Heat in Game 2. He finished with 29 points on an efficient 11-for-18 shooting clip. But it was hardly smooth sailing for the rest of the team, with nobody else scoring more than 14 points.

“It can't get too much worse,” Jimmy Butler added. “They whipped our tail on our home floor. They tried to embarrass us. They did embarrass us … overall, we just have to be better.”

While they were clobbered in Game 2, the result still counts as just one loss on the series win counter. Jimmy Butler and the Heat will look to return the favor as the series shifts to Boston.
