Justise Winslow is sidelined for the Miami Heat with a hamstring issue, but head coach Erik Spoelstra confirms the injury to the 22-year-old is nothing serious.

Winslow was ruled out for Miami's season opener against the Orlando Magic due to the injury. He is also expected to miss their second game on Thursday against the Washington Wizards.

Despite Winslow's possible back-to-back absences, however, Spoelstra played down the concerns to the fourth-year forward and said keeping him on the sidelines is just a “precautionary” move, per Manny Navarro of The Athletic.

Winslow, selected 10th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, recently agreed to a three-year, $39 million extension with the Heat. In his first three seasons with Miami, he put up averages of 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

The Duke Blue Devils product will now join Dion Waiters (ankle), James Johnson (abdomen) and Wayne Ellington (ankle) on the Heat's inactive list.

With the injuries, Rodney McGruder and Derrick Jones Jr. are slated to see more significant playing time in order to fill the void on the wing. The Heat have a lot of quality depth on the roster, so they should be able to overcome some of these health issues to start the year.
