New Miami Heat recruit Kyle Lowry has been around the league for a considerable time now. He's also had the privilege of playing alongside some of the best in the business, which now includes new teammate Jimmy Butler in Miami.

Lowry was recently asked how Butler compares to a few of his other teammates in the past, and the former had a pretty perfect description of the Heat forward (h/t Five Reasons Sports on Twitter):

Lowry says Butler is “different, in that he's a little bit more crazy. He wears his emotion on his sleeve. Whereas the other 2 I played with, DeMar and Kawhi, they are a little more quiet.”

It's not as if Jimmy Butler has a few loose screws. What Lowry is saying here is that his new Heat teammate has an edge about him that not many players in the league possess. For Lowry to say that DeMar DeRozan and Kawhi Leonard are the quiet types would be an ultimate understatement, though.

Lowry is considered as one of the greatest players in Toronto Raptors history, and this was where he was able to team up with DeRozan and Leonard. Both players are also seen as legends of the Raptors franchise. It now feels like an eternity since DeMar and Kawhi were in Toronto, and now that Lowry himself has moved on to the Heat, the Raptors are officially ushering in a new era.

For his part, Lowry will be looking for a fresh start in South Beach. He is a key addition for the Heat in the offseason, and he could be the player they're looking for to bring this team to the next level. It's definitely going to get “crazy” in Miami this season.
