Minnesota Timberwolves fans pulled the ultimate troll job on Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler.

During the third quarter of the game when Tyler Herro was on the free-throw line, Timberwolves fans started chanting “Rachel Nichols” at Jimmy Butler.

This all started because someone reported that multiple players inside the NBA bubble were having secret relationships. Jimmy Butler was somehow linked to Rachel Nichols and fans ran with it. There is no telling if the Heat star and the ESPN anchor at the time had a relationship, but social media ran with it and hasn't stopped since.

The Heat and Jimmy Butler are having an impressive season. They are currently in second place in the Eastern Conference, sitting at 12-6 on the season.

Miami is hoping that they will be able to replicate something that came from the bubble, and it's not the Rachel Nichols joke. They are hoping that they can find the same success that they did in the bubble in an actual basketball setting with fans.

Last season the Heat got embarrassed by the Milwaukee Bucks after getting swept in the first round of the playoffs. Jimmy Butler and the Heat had a series to forget as they were tormented by Bucks role player Bryn Forbes.
