The Miami Heat got a huge victory on Thursday night, without having to even play a basketball game. With Boston's loss the Milwaukee, coupled with Philadelphia's loss to Toronto, the Heat officially clinched the overall top seed in the eastern conference.

Miami is 52-28, two games ahead of the Bucks, but they own the tie-breaker with only two games remaining. That likely felt Heat fans very excited, and they wouldn't be alone.

Heat star Tyler Herro took to Twitter to share his feelings about it, posting “1 seeed (with an emoji).” Clearly, Herro is geeked up about it, and he should be. The Miami Heat have the best home record in the eastern conference at 28-12, and now the eastern conference goes through Miami.

Two years ago, the Heat got all the way to the NBA Finals, ultimately losing to the Los Angeles Lakers. Many people had criticized this Heat team, saying that they only got that far was because they were in the bubble. Miami was just a bubble team but could not do it outside the bubble.

Well, that has officially been put to rest. Herro is one of the biggest reasons why.

Herro is experiencing a career-year off the bench for the Heat. The former Kentucky Wildcat is averaging over 20 points per game, to go along with five rebounds and four assists. Herro has also excelled shooting from the outside, as he has knocked down 40 percent of his triples this season. His performance this season has made him the front runner for the NBA Sixth Man of the Year.
