In Wednesday night's matchup against the Orlando Magic, the Miami Heat will start second-year guard Tyler Herro. According to Will Manso of WPLG Local 10 News, the starting lineup was set as the following:

Coming off of a tough 2020 NBA Finals loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Heat, led by Jimmy Butler, developed the talent of rookies Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro. With their consistent shooting, along with Bam Adebayo's presence in the paint, the Heat's journey to the Finals was an impressive feat.

Tyler Herro, a rookie out of the University of Kentucky, averaged 13.5 points per game along with shooting 38.9 percent from 3-point land. In the playoffs, where Herro flourished, he scored 16.0 points per game while shooting 37.5 percent from deep.

To see Herro healthy and ready to play is a promising sign for coach Erik Spoelstra and the Heat. This past season, Herro proved himself to be a star in the making, with not only his elite shooting capabilities, but his ability to forge an unstoppable offensive attack with the leadership of veterans Butler and Goran Dragic as well as the young core consisting of Robinson and Adebayo was the reason why the Lakers had a tough matchup in the Finals.

His fearlessness when pulling the trigger and playmaking abilities will unquestionably contribute to the Heat's campaign to get back to the Finals. However, it is key for Herro to stay healthy throughout this upcoming season to develop his game and continue to produce for the Heat.
