The situation between Jalen Ramsey and Jacksonville Jaguars appears to be stuck at a standstill. According to multiple reports, Jacksonville has remained firm in their no-trade stance for Ramsey despite multiple offers.

After the Jaguars lost to the Houston Texans in Week 2, there were murmurs that Ramsey had demanded a trade from the team. Shortly after the rumors surfaced, the All-Pro cornerback confirmed that the rumors were true.

Despite requesting a trade, Ramsey unexpectedly suited up in Week 3 versus the Tennessee Titans. Since then, the drama has continued to unfold on both sides involved.

Following Week 3, Ramsey began missing practices due to being struck with the flu and back issues. Many questioned the legitimacy of his illness and injury; especially considering the timing of them.

Then, the 24-year-old cornerback remained away from the team to be present for the birth of his child. Therefore, the Jaguars No. 1 cornerback missed the first game of his four-year career last Sunday.

Now, this week, Ramsey still hasn't returned and is out for the second consecutive week. Even though all of this, Jacksonville hasn't budged an inch in their stance to keep Ramsey on their roster.

A couple of weeks ago, there was reportedly a team that offered two first-round picks for the disgruntled cornerback. The Jaguars rejected the offer and have been attempting to do anything to repair their fractured relationship with their highly touted corner.

Most people have shared the opinion that money is an issue for teams making an offer for Ramsey. Contrary to belief, Ramsey seems content playing for another team without a contract extension.

However, the conclusion of this standoff doesn't appear to be nearing an end anytime soon.
