The Jacksonville Jaguars are in desperate need of some receiving help, so they are turning to Terrelle Pryor for some potential assistance. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Jaguars worked out Pryor on Wednesday.

Pryor played in eight games between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills this past season, spending six contests with the Jets before being cut in late October. He then signed with the Bills.

While he was on the field, Pryor logged 16 catches for 252 yards and a couple of touchdowns.

The 29-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Ohio State, was originally selected by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft.

He came into the league as a quarterback and actually started 10 games under center for the Raiders over his first three seasons. Pryor then signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2015, and after scarcely seeing the field in his first season, he transitioned to wide receiver for the 2016 campaign.

The position change was a hit for Pryor, as he ended up hauling in 77 receptions for 1,007 yards and four scores that year.

However, that was the last time Pryor was really all that productive.

He moved on to the Washington Redskins in 2017, but he appeared in just nine contests due to injuries and made a very limited impact, catching 20 passes for 240 yards while reaching the end zone once.

But with the Jaguars having one of the thinnest receiving corps in the NFL, you can certainly see why they would be willing to give Pryor a shot.
