The news circulating around the Jacksonville Jaguars recently is more focused on the addition of Tim Tebow than it has been on the team's No. 1 overall pick, Trevor Lawrence. It sounds odd, but it's the reality of the situation and the circus that follows along wherever Tebow goes. It has some within the Jaguars organization questioning the decision to sign Tebow.

According to Jeff Darlington of ESPN, the move is being met with some worry and wonder.

This seems to backup the note that NFL Network's James Palmer made on Monday, when he also said some with the Jaguars are puzzled by the decision and worried about the attention it could bring to distract the locker room.

There's no doubt that when looking at Tebow's past stops, each has included non-stop media attention and hype to degrees very rarely seen with other athletes.

Perhaps most perplexing about this is that Tebow hasn't played or been on an NFL roster since 2012. Now, almost a decade later, Urban Meyer and the Jaguars are giving him another shot. However this time, it will reportedly be at tight end.

Whether or not Tebow has an impact or even makes the roster is yet to be seen, but clearly Meyer had some backing within the organization to go out and make a move of this magnitude.

What comes next as far as media attention and the circus to be can not be surprising to the Jaguars. Although it's been a long time since Tebow put on the shoulder pads and an NFL uniform, some things never change, and that includes the headlines that Tebow will get while in Jacksonville.
