Shad Khan, Doug Peterson, and Trevor Lawrence's home team's vision was approved by the Jacksonville City Council, a development the team called “exciting” on X.

Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan said the newest plans have been a “long time coming” and added that she is grateful for the partnership with the Jaguars organization that has proven to be fruitful thus far.
