JR Smith has used Twitter to keep his fans updated on his life as a 36-year-old college student. Not only has he been working towards a degree, but Smith also joined the university's golf team, making his course load even more difficult to manage. The former NBA player announced Tuesday morning that he got his final grades for the semester, and he is more than excited.

He tweeted this a few hours later, obviously super excited to tell his daughters the great news.

The former shooting guard recently enrolled in North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Since starting his first-ever semester of college, Smith has shared his journey via Twitter. So far, his live tweets of university life have been nothing short of hilarious. In one tweet, Smith said that he joined an African American Studies class, but his classmates don't believe that it's actually him.

I can't blame them. What are the chances you end up in class with a retired 2x NBA champion and Sixth Man of the Year?

While Smith enjoys poking fun at the comical struggles he faces as a nontraditional college student, he is also working hard. Earning a 4.0 in college is no walk in the park, especially as a college athlete who hasn't had formal education since 2004.
