As Juventus continues to gradually turn around its form, forward Dusan Vlahovic is not yet counting out his side’s chances of making a grand comeback in the Serie A standings.

Vlahovic shined in Juventus’ key 3-2 away win over Empoli. The Serbian international extended his run of keen showings with the Bianconeri as he scored a pair of goals and won six ground duels.

As it stands, Juventus now sits at seven points behind first place side AC Milan in the Serie A standings, although Inter Milan is just two points from the league leaders and has a game in hand.

All in all, Vlahovic is keeping a match-by-match mentality as the Serie A season heads into the stretch run, which he touched on in his post-match comments to the Italian-based outlet DAZN.

“We have to take it one game at a time,” Vlahovic said.

The Serbian forward has his sights set on playing to win the remaining 11 matches of Juventus’ league schedule.

“We have our objectives and will try to play every match to win,” Vlahovic said.

Overall, Vlahovic’s arrival sure has added another dimension to Juventus’ attack upfront, as he has scored four goals in all competitions with the Serie A powerhouse.

For now, Vlahovic will lead Juventus against his former club in Fiorentina in the upcoming first leg of their Coppa Italia semifinal tie.
