Kamaru Usman previously told TMZ he would relish the opportunity to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. The UFC welterweight champion won't take it easy on Paul, either.

Paul has been asking for a fight with any number of UFC stars. He has called out Conor McGregor and had some words for former two-weight world champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 261.

The polarizing star sought to draw Usman's attention last week after criticizing the welterweight champion and suggesting he was ducking.

However, Usman is not one to mince words. He issued a chilling response to Paul on Wednesday, suggesting he can change Paul's life for good:

“I understand you think this is a game which is probably why you don’t realize that this is how people Truly get hurt,” Kamaru Usman tweeted. “I don’t play fighting and I can change your life in the worst way.”

Indeed, Paul should be wary given Usman's recent results in the Octagon.

The Nigerian Nightmare has finished each of his last three opponents. His latest victory included a massive knockout of top welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal.

Of course, a UFC bout would be something vastly different from a boxing exhibition between Usman and Paul. Then again, Usman — who really came up as a technical wrestler — has repeatedly showcased his striking chops in his bast few fights. The Masvidal knockout speaks for itself, but he also broke Colby Covington's jaw at UFC 245.

Asking Jake Paul to chill is like waiting on pigs to fly. It's not happening. Still, he should tread carefully when asking for smoke with Kamaru Usman.
