Karl-Anthony Towns looks to be well on his way to following up an incredible freshman campaign that saw him win the Rookie of the Year award.

The 20-year-old shined in the Minnesota Timberwolves‘ 101-94 preseason win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night, tallying an impressive 31 points in his short 24-minute stint on the floor.

KAT was aggressive early, reaching the 30-point mark with only 10 field goals attempted, thanks to his uncanny touch from the line, where he went a perfect 17-of-17 in the outing. Check it out.

He finished last night's game with 31 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and a block.

Towns knows where his bread is buttered and was a nightmare near the basket, the fact that he runs the court so well and has a mid-range game to go with his natural athletic ability this early in his career makes for a scary proposition for future NBA centers.

The bar has been raised and Towns has put it really high up there. His game reveals almost no weakness at the moment and as he gains experience, it won't be long before he's out there terrorizing NBA arenas night after night.
