Kevin Durant has the utmost confidence in teammate Zaza Pachulia and his ability to keep his composure despite a potentially rowdy atmosphere at the AT&T Center tomorrow at San Antonio.

Pachulia was, of course, the villain in the mini-story surrounding the injury of Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, who rolled his ankle twice in the third quarter of Game 1 at Oracle Arena — a sight which infuriated his head coach Gregg Popovich and plenty of fans.

The rancor ran deep, going as far as one fan did, suing Pachulia and the Golden State Warriors for negligence and ill intent toward Leonard in a play where the big man undercut him through a shot contest, which ultimately knocked him out of the game after the medical staff recommended he sit.

Regardless of the chain of events, Durant feels his teammate won't have any problem facing a hostile environment, as the resident expert in road crowd hate explained.

“He's a 14-year veteran, grown-ass man with two kids,” Durant told reporters Friday, per Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News. “A couple of jokes thrown his way here and there, a couple of goons, I don't think that will rattle him at all.

“He knows we got his back. It's not that serious.”

With or without Kawhi Leonard in the lineup, the Spurs and the Warriors will have to lace them up at least two more times at the AT&T Center in hopes of crowning themselves Western Conference champions and reach the NBA Finals come June.
