Kevin Durant is on the Warriors. I know, it's still unbelievable to us too. He signed a two year contract with Golden State with an option to opt out after one year.

Most players would wait to have played a game with their new team before implying what they plan to do regarding the option to opt out. Kevin Durant didn't wait though.

Yesterday, during Durant's official introduction to the Warriors, KD had to say this regarding whether he plans to opt out or not once again next year.

“I plan on being here,” Durant said. “I don't want to go through that again.”

Now, obviously, that doesn't guarantee that Kevin Durant will remain with the Warriors following this season. But, it does seem like this was the hardest decision he had to make in his lifetime and he probably doesn't want to do that again.

We don't know if all of the stars on the Warriors will be able to work well together yet, but the fact that Durant seems open to staying long-term assures that they should have plenty of time to work on their chemistry.
