Kevin Durant has reportedly ruled out the Big Apple as a home for next season, even though New York City legend Jay-Z has advised him to come play in The Big Apple.

Jay-Z wanted Durant to meet with both the Knicks and Nets, but Durant has ruled those options. He is going to meet with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat. But most people believe that Durant will stay with his long time team, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

He would make any team he decides to play for better, but the lure of staying home should be too much for Kevin Durant. Any team with KD would be a contender, but staying with the Thunder gives him more help with players like Russell Westbrook, Steven Adams, and Enes Kanter, and new additions of Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova, and the rookie Domatas Sabonis.

Durant was drafted 2nd overall in 2007 by the Seattle Supersonics. He’s played for 9 seasons with the Supersonics/Thunder, and has been a 4 time scoring champion in 2010-2012, as well as 2014, Rookie of the Year in 2008, All-Star Game MVP in 2012, and a regular season MVP in 2014. He averaged 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 5 assists this season with the Thunder.
