Everyone received the warning. Now, the decision has been made. Kevin Garnett will retire after 21 seasons in the NBA.
Garnett hanging up his sneakers follows two other future Hall of Famers, his contemporaries, who also saw their final game played last season in Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan.

The 2003-2004 Most Valuable Player gave the Minnesota Timberwolves its best years and catapulted them to relevance. Garnett and the team essentially grew up together.
Garnett ends a storied career that had him win an MVP trophy, a world title with the Boston Celtics, and a Defensive Player of the Year. He was also selected to 15 All-Star games, 12 All-Defensive teams, and nine All-NBA teams.
He’ll be best remembered by teammates and opponents alike for his tenacity on both ends of the court.
