Khamzat Chimaev is one of the most hyped names in MMA and in the UFC. The welterweight returned from a long layoff with a big win to remind everyone about his potential.

Khamzat Chimaev has been talking trash with everyone in the UFC and he wants to fight everyone. Recently he spoke about what MMA might do to him and the subject of Tony Ferguson and Mike Tyson came up.

The Swedish fighter did an interview with Hustle MMA where he got brutally honest on the subject of Mike Tyson. The UFC welterweight is a fan but there are some things he doesn't like.

“As a fighter, an athlete, I really like him. But I don’t like what all happened with him: the violence, the pills, the marijuana, then muslims, it’s strange. But I still respect him, both as a fighter and as a person. He went through a lot of things and because of this, he broke down, did a lot of bad things,” Chimaev said via MMANews.

“No one knows what will happen to me, it can happen to anyone. A good, normal person, but something happens and you end up in a mental hospital. Like (Tony) Ferguson, right? Something like that happened to him.”

The subject of mental health in the UFC is an interesting one. Khamzat CHimaev brought up some great points. As fun as the sport is to watch, it can be tough on the athletes.

Khamzat Chimaev is looking to get back in the UFC cage very quickly. The Swedish fighter has been calling everyone out.
