Kingdom Hearts officially launched on Steam earlier this June and Square Enix is now giving away free limited-edition Steam Decks. Initially, only Epic Games had the rights to sell the game. Kingdom Hearts was already available on PC back on March 30, 2021. It took three years for the developers to decide to broaden their audience on PC.

Speaking of broadening the audience, with Kingdom Hearts now on Steam, that means the game is now fully verified on the Steam Deck. These handheld users now no longer need to worry about compatibility and downloading the game from third-party apps. To add the icing on the cake, Square Enix is also giving fans a chance to win a limited-edition Steam Deck signed by Tetsuya Nomura, the team’s Director and Video Game Artist.

How to Win the Limited-Edition Kingdom Hearts Steam Deck

Square Enix recently posted about a Kingdom Hearts sweepstakes on X (formerly known as Twitter). Based on the public material alone, it appears that the developers are giving away a Steam Deck, a Mickey Mouse figurine, a Keyblade keychain, and a customized keyboard. However, there’s more to that.

Enter the Kingdom Hearts Sweepstakes

There are various ways to win certain prizes in the sweepstakes. Upon entering the website, participants will be given the option to select which among the four prizes they want to win. It’s worth noting they can select all four. However, checking all four boxes won’t guarantee anything. Each participant’s luck will depend on the amount of entries they submit. Fortunately, there will be 34 ways to submit an entry. These 34 methods rack up a total of 132 entries.

The grand winner of the contest will win a 1TB Steam Deck signed by Tetsuya Nomura installed with the Kingdom Heart Integrum bundle. On top of the grand prize will be all the mentioned Kingdom Hearts merch and the customized keyboard from HiGround Keyboards.

As mentioned earlier, there are four prizes to win, meaning the runners-up can still win a Steam Deck themselves. Unfortunately, these decks won’t come with Nomura’s signature but it still comes with the Kingdom Hearts Integrum bundle.

The second-place winner will win a non-signed 1TB Steam Deck installed with the Kingdom Hearts Integrum bundle. They will also win some of the merchandise of their choice. The second-place winner can decide which merchandise they want to get.

For the third prize, there’ll be up to two winners. These participants will get a non-signed 512GB Steam Deck with the Kingdom Hearts Integrum bundle installed and their choice among the available merchandise. Finally, for the fourth prize, up to three winners can get a non-signed 256GB Steam Deck with the Kingdom Hearts Integrum bundle.

Keep in mind that the contest is currently active and will conclude on July 1, 2024. It’s also worth mentioning that the contest is worldwide. This means that even if one isn’t from the United States, they also have the opportunity to win these prizes.

By the time the contest concludes, the winners of the sweepstakes should expect an e-mail from Square Enix. The e-mail should give them instructions on how to claim their prizes and when they should expect to receive them.

In the meantime, Kingdom Hearts is now available on Steam and is currently on sale until July 12, 2024. Get a chance to secure the Integrum bundle for 31% off. Players can also purchase the game individually for 31% less.
