Sacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield, along with teammates Jabari Parker and Alex Len, tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.

The Kings are among the 22 teams scheduled to partake in the “bubble” games in Orlando, Florida. The 2019-20 season resumes on July 30 at Walt Disney World.

Hield, during an interview with Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee, spoke about his health status after contracting the virus.

In a brief exchange with The Sacramento Bee, Buddy Hield said “I’m good” and he believes he will “be fine by Monday,” but it will probably be at least two weeks before the 27-year-old sharpshooter is cleared to resume basketball activities under the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols.

Sounds like Hield is asymptomatic and will able to play in the “bubble” games. Until then, Kings' sharpshooter needs to rest up and stay hydrated.

Before the season was suspended in March, Hield was averaging 19.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists for the Kings. The former Oklahoma Sooner standout was also shooting 42.9 percent from the floor, 39.5 percent from beyond the arc and 85.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Hield, who began his NBA career with the New Orleans Pelicans, signed a lucrative contract extension with the Kings before the 2019-20 campaign started. Buddy has career NBA averages of 15.9 points, 4.2 boards and 2.2 assists.

To reach the 2020 playoffs, Buddy Hield and the Kings will have to take out the Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs. The winner will clinch the eighth spot in the West and face LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the postseason.
