Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox recently got engaged to his girlfriend on the beach.

Take a look at the photos on Twitter:

Looks like this offseason is going to be a fun one for De'Aaron Fox. Not only is he now engaged, but the Kings are expected to sign their franchise point guard to a lucrative rookie-scale extension once the 2020 free agency period begins following the end of the 2020 playoffs at Walt Disney World.

During the 2019-20 regular season, Fox appeared in 51 games for the Kings. The lefty, who is one of the fastest players in the NBA, averaged 21.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists a night while shooting 48.0 percent from the field, 29.2 percent from beyond the arc and 70.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Despite Fox's stellar play, the Kings once again missed the playoffs this season. The franchise has the longest playoff drought in the NBA, as Sacramento hasn't made the postseason since all the way back in 2006.

The Kings need to surround Fox with more talent if the organization wants to make the postseason soon. While Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes, Marvin Bagley III and Bogdan Bogdanovic are solid players, it's clear Sacramento still has a lot of work to do in terms of building the team around Fox and his elite skills.

The Kings are in need of a new president of basketball operations after Vlade Divac stepped down from his post. It should be interesting to see who owner Vivek Ranadivé winds up hiring.
