Sacramento Kings starting point guard De'Aaron Fox is questionable to face the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.

The Kings say Fox has abdominal tightness.

Fox, arguably the fastest player in the NBA with the ball in his hands, has appeared in 41 games for the Kings this season. The lefty is averaging a career-high 20.1 points per game while also putting up 4.0 rebounds and 6.9 assists. He is shooting 47.2 percent from the field, 31.4 percent from beyond the arc and 67.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The 22-year-old has seven double-doubles on the season, and the Kings are 17-24 with Fox in the lineup.

Sacramento hasn’t been in the postseason since 2006. For the Kings to eventually snap their playoff drought, De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley III, Harrison Barnes and Bogdan Bogdanovic will have to be the guys who get it done.

Fox has career averages of 15.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.1 assists with the Kings. Sacramento needs to finish off the season strong if it wants to make the playoffs in the rugged Western Conference. They are currently 26-34 on the campaign, which is good for ninth place in the West.
