Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki is a big fan of Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox.

Nowitzki, who has played in the NBA since 1999, says Fox is “probably one of the fastest players I've seen in this league.”

“[De'Aaron] Fox is fantastic, he's so fast, he's probably one of the fastest players I've seen in this league and he got better from year one to year two,” Nowitzki said, via James Ham of NBC Sports California.

Earlier in the season, De'Aaron Fox said he was the fastest player in the NBA.

After watching him play live, Dirk Nowitzki believes Fox may have a point. The Kings' floor general is a blur in transition with the ball in his hands and is impossible to stay in front of.

In 70 games this season for the Kings, Fox has been great. The lefty is averaging 17.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game while shooting 46.4 percent from the field, 37.6 percent from beyond the arc and 71.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Fox, 21, has 12 double-doubles and one triple-double on the season. The youngster has only missed one game all season despite playing at a frantic pace night in and night out.

The Kings are 35-36, which is good for ninth place in the Western Conference standings. Sacramento is 6.5 games out of the eighth spot.
