With the Sacramento Kings facing off against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, the matchup carries just a little bit of extra weight. Only time will tell if Sacramento ends up regretting their 2018 draft pick in Marvin Bagley III as they passed on Luka Doncic. But, according to this one fan at the game, there's no question who he would have liked the Kings to pick in 2018.

Going into the 2018 NBA draft, the Kings had the No. 2 overall pick with the chance to draft the future of their franchise. Sacramento ended up selecting Bagley, a talented power forward out of Duke.

One pick later, the Atlanta Hawks would draft European phenom Doncic, an exciting do it all player that dominated the EuroLeague at only 18 years old. Doncic was then traded to the Mavs and the rest is history.

After a dominant rookie season, Doncic was named Rookie of the Year. Bagley had a really solid season for the Kings as well, and the 6-foot-11 big man was named to the All-Rookie first team. However, Doncic had proven himself as a once in a generation talent so it's hard for the Kings to not feel a little bad about their 2018 selection.

The gap between Doncic and Bagley has grown even larger this season. At 20 years old, Doncic is averaging 28.9 points, 9.6 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game while cementing himself among the MVP conversation.

On the other hand, Bagley has struggled with injuries appearing in just 10 total games this season for Sacramento. In those games, the former No. 2 pick is putting up 14.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
