Being a parent of a professional athlete must be stressful. At least that seems to be the case for Mychal Thompson, the father of Warriors‘ shooting guard Klay Thompson.
According to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, the elder Thompson was too nervous to watch Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Thunder. So, he watched something else instead:
Mychal Thompson says he was nervous and couldn't bear to watch Game 7, so he watched Monday Night Raw instead.

Little did Mychal Thompson know that he would have seen a bit of wrestling in Game 7 when Draymond Green and Steven Adams were tangled up in a takedown to the court.
Klay's father expressed his feelings after learning that Golden State won the game:
Mychal Thompson said on the radio when he learned of the result, "I almost felt like Joe Lacob."

Now the question is, will he make it to an NBA Finals game to watch in-person or even on television, or will it be more WWE for him? The Finals can only be more stressful than the semifinals, after all.
