The New York Knicks have been busy this offseason so far as the franchise is hopeful to get back on track. They have a solid roster heading into the new season, especially now with Jalen Brunson signing a long-term contract. Additionally, Isaiah Hartenstein joins the rotation as a solid option at power forward. After the dust settled, shooting guard Evan Fournier reacts to New York signing Brunson and Hartenstein.

Okay, maybe Fournier gave away the Knicks' game plan for the 2022-23 season (JK lol, as the kids say), but regardless, he's excited for his new teammates. After spending years trying to find a competent point guard, the organization is hopeful that Jalen Brunson can bring some star power to the backcourt. If that's the case, then New York should make the necessary improvements next year.

Meanwhile, Isaiah Hartenstein joins the club as a three-point shooting big. He should help spread the floor a bit and serve as a solid rotational option behind Julius Randle. We'll see how it all plays out, but Knicks fans should be as excited as Evan Fournier. With RJ Barrett developing nicely and New York locking down Mitchell Robinson for the long-term, things are looking up for this franchise.

The Knicks have a fine roster heading into the new season. They will need the young guys to develop and play more consistently, however, New York has built a solid foundation to compete in the NBA. Look for the franchise to generate some buzz, as Brunson and Hartenstein bring a new element to the team overall.
