The New York Knicks are the betting favorites to sign All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving this summer in free agency, according to BetOnline.ag.

The online betting site has the Knicks at a -150 to sign Irving this offseason. Uncle Drew becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Boston Celtics.

The Nets are a close but unlikely contender for Irving's signature at +200, while the Celtics are +500 in re-signing him.

Irving has been linked to the Knicks for quite some time. The Knicks have cap space to sign two max contract players this offseason. The Celtics lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the playoffs in five games, prompting more questions about Irving's future; however, many around the league believe Kyrie will stay with Boston if they can trade for New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis.

During the regular season, Irving averaged 23.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.9 assists. The six-time All-Star shot 48.7 percent from the field, 40.1 percent from beyond the arc and 87.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Knicks have been a walking disaster for years. Adding Irving and another star in free agency would be a big boost for the club. New York also has the third overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. If they keep it, the Knicks are expected to take Duke's R.J. Barrett.
