The New York Knicks have reportedly made guards Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee, along with power forward Enes Kanter available in trade talks, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 7. The Knicks have the second-worst record in the league entering Thursday and are in full rebuild mode.

The Knicks have been trying to trade Courtney Lee since last summer. The veteran guard is making $12,253,780 this season and owed $12,759,670 next year. Lee is averaging 5.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game this season in the 10 games he has played in.

The same reason Lee is on the trade market goes for Tim Hardaway Jr. New York wants to free up as much cap space as they can. Hardaway Jr. is making $17,325,000 this season and due to make $18,150,000 next year. The 26-year-old leads the Knicks in scoring, averaging 19.6 points per game.

As for Enes Kanter, the big man has been extremely frustrated with his lack of playing time this season. The 26-year-old told reporters on Wednesday that the franchise should trade him if they aren't going to play him.

Enes Kanter, who is making $18,622,513 this season, is averaging 14.4 points and 10.8 rebounds per game while shooting 54.1 percent from the field and 81.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Contending teams who need frontcourt scoring and rebounding could use a player like Enes Kanter. Courtney Lee and Tim Hardaway Jr., meanwhile, can stretch the floor well and provide perimeter shooting.
