Kylie Jenner broke down in tears when speaking about the “hurtful” comments she has received regarding her appearance. On the latest episode of The Kardashians which aired June 20, Kylie's older sister Kendall began the conversation about how people online speak about them and their sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian.
“If you talked the same way you do about us about any other woman, people would come to their defense all day long,” Kendall says. “But for some reason, with us, people don't think we have any feelings.”
“It's, like, a miracle that I can still have confidence, and look in the mirror and think I'm pretty,” Kylie agrees. “After 10-plus years of hearing about [my looks], it just gets exhausting.”
The Kylie Cosmetics founder later got emotional in her conversation with Kendall saying between tears, “I've never cried about this before, but I guess it does affect me.”
Kendall hugged her as she continued, “It's just like, why do people think it's OK to talk about me?”
What Has Kylie Said About Her Lip Fillers?
Kylie's look has been a hot topic for years. The mom of two confessed to getting lip fillers back in 2015 when fans noticed that her lips had gotten larger over the years. Last year, in an interview with HommeGirls, she expressed that she did not have any regrets about getting fillers.
“I think a big misconception about me is that I've had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn't! Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder explained. “I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I don't regret it. But I always thought I was cute.”
After getting the lip fillers for the first time in 2015, she later made an announcement in 2018 that she would stop getting them. However, shortly after she returned using the lip fillers.
In the episode, Kylie mocks the trolls online,”‘Because she did it to herself. She f**ked up her face, she had so much surgery,'” the model says as an excuse people online use to mock her appearance.
“People have been talking about my looks since I was 12, 13. Before I even got lip filler, people were talking about my looks,” Kylie recounts. “I look old, I see it under every post.”
“It's sadly something we just have to, like, really grow tough skin on,” Kendall responded.
“I think that I'm really strong, and I was put in this position for a reason. I do think of myself as a confident person,” Kylie said in her confessional. “I'm also human and there's only so much one person can take.”
