Andrew Bogut will finally be able to join his new team, the Los Angeles Lakers, for all team activities after his visa has been cleared, the Los Angeles Times' Tania Ganguli reports on Twitter.

Bogut had been unable to take part in Lakers training camp due to issues with his visa.

After attracting interest from multiple teams, the 32-year-old Aussie eventually signed a one-year deal with the Lakers on September 18. Bogut is looking to recover from a broken leg which he suffered seconds into his first game with the Cleveland Cavaliers back in March. His contract is currently guaranteed for just $50,000, although he is favored to take the team's 15th and final roster spot.

But even if Bogut does make the cut, he is not expected to be an integral part of the Lakers rotation. Los Angeles already has a crowded center depth chart as it is. Brook Lopez, Ivica Zubac, and rookie Thomas Bryant are all traditional centers who should see playing time, while Larry Nance Jr. can also play the position in smaller lineups.

The Lakers have already begun their preseason campaign as they lost 108-99 to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
