The NBA 2K25 Gameplay Reveal trailer dropped today, and of course the developers wanted to show footage of Lakers' rookie Bronny James alongside his legendary father, LeBron. Although brief, the trailer shows the duo playing together and celebrating, we get a good glimpse of his in-game player model. Without further ado, let's take a look the Lakers rookie in NBA 2K25.

NBA 2K25 Gameplay Reveal Shows Bronny & LeBron

The latest NBA 2K25 Gameplay trailer showed in-game footage of Lakers' rookie Bronny James for the first time. At roughly one minute and 22 seconds into the trailer, we can see Bronny lobbing the ball to his father, LeBron, who performs a slam dunk. Just a few seconds later, we actually see Bronny's player model in-game, as he performs a little celebration with his dad.

It's a small but cool detail to see, considering it's probably the biggest storyline in the NBA right now. Despite being a 2nd round draft pick, all eyes are on Bronny, who will hope to follow in his fathers' footsteps and bring greatness to L.A.

The Los Angeles Lakers drafted Bronny James 55th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft. He played one year at USC for the Trojans, appearing in 25 games and starting six. Now, he plays with his father, LeBron, creating the first active father-son duo in NBA history.

In the Summer League, Bronny started poorly, but he picked up with his last two performances. Although he'll face much better players when the Regular Season begins, there's some optimism that he can at least grow and develop. Furthermore, learning under his father, who just so happens to be one of the greatest players of all time, might just help the 19 year old make an impact.

Ronnie 2K also recently teased about Bronny's 2K rating, which we may hear about before launch. For the time being, there's plenty of rookies from this year's draft who already received their 2K25 rating. We're interested in seeing Bronny's reaction when he sees his 2K rating for the first time.

Overall, that wraps up everything we know about the father-son duo so far in NBA 2K25. Fans might be more enticed than ever to try out MyNBA just to play with LeBron and his son. NBA 2K25's Gameplay reveal showed an all-new dribble engine along with various improvements on offense, defense, and AI. Feel free to learn everything new on Next-Gen thanks to ProPLAY Technology.
